“PALM EXPO 2010 in Beijing” Opening Ceremony Amplification System Analysis

On May 2010 in Beijing, the 19th Chinese Prolight&Sound Fair, the PALM EXPO 2010 was successfully held at China International Exhibition Center.

As a highlight of the exhibition--undertaker of the opening ceremony amplification--Shenzhen Bao Ye Heng Industrial Development CO. LTD, successfully completed the amplification security task again after the 18th Chinese Prolight&Sound Fair.

The same way of opening ceremony aplication as last year, this year we still have used the full digital audio equipment, to achieve control in two closed-end digital audio master cars. High auality amplification effect, mysterious control mode, roused a lot of industry friends’ curiosity, visitors left a deep impression. To satisfy people's seek novelty psychological, today we have a simple analysis on the opening ceremony amplification,  to share the charm of digital audio.

This is outdoor amplification project. We need to conquer many challenges, such as low S/N of audio signal transmitted over long distance, large power supply voltage fluctuation range, lighting system interference to sound system, syestem of centralized control and managemnet, backup transmission syestem, rain-proof system, etc. According to the actual situation of the organizer’s requirements, after many design and verification, we chose C-Mark AUDIONET matrix and NO2 Bull large line array lodspeakers combination method. NO2 Bull line array loudspeaker, driven by 2pcs 10” woofer and 1pcs 75Ti tweeter, features neodymium-magnet lightweight, high-powered. Inserted needle suspension ensure easy, fastness setups and takedowns. Tweeter horn patent designed to make parallel wave, eliminating the HF&MF wave interferences in the cabinet.

We have a wealth of design experence and successful examples in using the set of system. There are much patent technology as backing, Germany SDA, the world famous acoustics software design company, designed for PAL NO2, supported by EASE Focus software, the field effect simulation, which can guide the speakers suspension in  installation site, speakers angle and gain adjustment, maxiimumly ensured the system’s rationality and optimization. It ont only realizes the goals that stable operation of the  system, advanced technology and networked control and management, also demonstrates the trend that digital audionet system would replace of the traditional analogue audio system. 

Though this case we can see that with the domestic economy development people in life and work on the sound system requirements are also increasing, and in the live sound of this important occasion on the sound system will put forward much higher requirements.There are many problems on the network that we put in front of every acoustics worker, such as how can the system be connected with home appliances, intelligent control, transmission, monitoring, maintenance and so on.
